Carol Santiago manages and oversees the daily operations of the MCEP program, including communications, program funding, and contract negotiations.

Carol is working on renegotiating the current contract, which is funded by Maximus, Inc., for an additional two- year extension. In addition, she is preparing a proposal for a new venue of operations for the new contract.

WHY THIS WORK IS IMPORTANT TO ME:

“We feel that the work we do is important because we change peoples’ lives. We empower communities on their rights and responsibilities on Medicaid Managed Care. We teach them how to make educated choices regarding access to healthcare.”
